Terry Jones and the Quran

The desire and attempt  by  Pastor Terry Jones of Dove World Outreach to burn the Quran is an incendiary and un-Christian act of defiance and hatred and defies the very principles  of Christianity, which is founded in "peace" as in the words of Jesua Ben Joseph, aka Jesus, what he stood for, spoke of and died for. To call his church the "Dove World Outreach" whose symbol, the dove, represents "peace"  further defies the whole meaning of this symbol, idea and word.

What did Jesus say? "Kill the enemy?" "Behave as does the enemy!" "behave in a hateful manner?" Under whose authority is this pastor behaving? Certainly not on the authority of Jesus or of God, but on the authority of his own self-righteous, judgmental, angry, vindictive ego which to me looks a lot more like the Devil's work and behavior than that which he professes to be, which is a Christian. The zealots of Christianity are no different than the zealots of Islam or of any other religious sect. If the slogan is of hatred, separation, defiance then I would say it is not Christianity or Islam nor is it serving a good God or the greater good of all humanity. There is a law. It was expressed by he who Christianity espouses and is found in the Golden rule...."Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I offer an olive branch to all people of the world, knowing that what we all long for truly is peace in our lives, food upon our table, good work, love, home and family. Mostly what we want is a healthy, happy world for future generations. I believe and know that it is possible for us to have a win, win for everyone, but in order to do that we have to clean up the judgment (the beam within our own eye," and in doing so, that which is outside of us will slowly clean up too. It is the way of the prophet.  Terry Jones, you are not representative of God's Divine love. You serve the "anti" one. Take you now the dove of peace and take that huge beam out of your eye. Your enemy is within you.
